Autobiography of a Yogi

Autobiography of a Yogui is one of the hidden gems and treasures of the Spiritual haven and libraries around the Globe. It was written and published by Guru Paramahansa Yoganda in 1946 and founder of Self- Realization Fellowship and Yogoda Satsanga of India. He published newer editions of the great book until he left his body consciously in 1952 at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California on March 7 1952. He taught Kriya Yoga, a higher Raja Yoga method taught in the Golden Age, milleniums ago. It was the only book Steve Jobs read once a year in his Ipad and the only E-Book he had. Steve Jobs was CEO and co-founder of Apple with Wozniac.    George Harrison of the Beatles used to give away free copies of Autobiography of a Yogi. Even Elvis Presley used to visit the headquarters at Mount Washington and studied his lessons.  If you have not read this Classic, please give yourself a chance to read it. Autobiography of a Yogi

Body and Soul

Body is not a nuisance of the Soul. Body or Soma is part of our journey among the myriad of planets and solar systems.  The body is an opportunity for Soul’s own awareness and growth. To loathe the Soma is to deny its true purpose for Soul freedom. In Physical Creation, Maya is a canvas for contrast to unfold its hidden potential for appreciation and Wisdom. It is not cast as an arbitrary division of life by the Great Architect.  Without it we cannot understand The Soul’s purpose and Immortality. The Soul manifest itself on the Ego while incarnated on the gross condensed Energy of the physical Universe of atomic forces and identify Itself with pseudo-Soul.  And yet Soul is pristine, pure and untouched by the sway and zig zag of Maya’s dross and imperfections. It is temporary encased on layers of different energies in our sorjoun of -to and fro -that we experience on the journey of the astral and physical planes of existence, and during  our numerous in...

Kafka’s last gift

At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully. Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her. The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter "written" by the doll saying "please don't cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures." Thus began a story which continued until the end of Kafka's life. During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable. Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned to Berlin. "It doesn't look like my doll at all," said the girl. Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: "my travels have changed me....
